Coming up with a name for our new magazine was easy! What do you & I both have in common? We want to THRIVE! In our current financial climate many businesses are happy just to survive, but we believe that with our help you can shift your business up a gear, from cruise to drive! If you're reading this, the chances are, you've used our products before. More than ever we are realising that many of you don't really know all that we do, not the full extent of our services, so that's why we are publishing this newsletter quarterly. Imagine you could keep running, even when something big has gone down? Imagine that you had fifteen or twenty minutes to solve a problem, before you had to hit stop? Well, now you can! This 5m long, double direction, accumulation table gives you an extra 15 minutes running time (depending on running speeds) and holds over 2500 cans. Before, if there was a problem, the product would back up and the company would have to stop the machines, costing them both time and money. Now, if there is an issue, the table automagically takes the product away from the hold up and then, once there is space again, returns them to the conveyor system to run as normal and complete the job. Yes, there is a cost involved- but can you really afford for your production to stop whilst you fix a fault, or find the problem? Depending on your costs per minute, you can actually recoup your costs very quickly. This particular table meant that when problems occurred, production could run for a further 12 minutes before having to stop, usually more than enough time to find and correct any problems! Get to know how QR codes can help us help you !
codes are square bar codes, first developed in Japan. Short for “Quick Response code,” QR codes are not the same as traditional UPC barcodes, ( the vertical lines found on most products nowadays) because they can be scanned more quickly and also can contain more information.
QR
QR codes are machinereadable labels & computers can understand them much more easily than they can understand text. They can be used for everything from tracking products to identifying items; which is what we are using them for! QR codes can be quickly photographed with your phone and sent through to us in order that we can extract all the information from them. It doesn't require any fancy electronics or scanners, just a simple camera on your cell phone.
Once you locate the problem, send us the QR code & we can replace the parts quickly & easily! The unreadable data, converts into meaningful information for us, so that we know exactly which conveyor you are talking about, when it was built and which parts it contains, meaning that we can solve your problems from a distance, simply with a click of a shutter.
