FAREWELL & WELCOME CLASS OF 2022 / CLASS OF 2029

Farewell...

TO THE ENTHUSIASTIC AND TENACIOUS CLASS OF 2022

Last year, 50 seniors were admitted to 113 different colleges and universities and enrolled at 34 across the U.S., listed below. Sixteen percent of this small but mighty class has chosen to take a gap year before college—they are embarking on internships, travel, and wonderful adventures both close to home and abroad. We are so proud of the Class of 2022 and can't wait to see what they do next!

Welcome...

TO THE CREATIVE AND INQUISITIVE CLASS OF 2029

Fifty-eight remarkable girls said yes to joining the Castilleja Class of 2029! This delightful group speaks 13 different languages at home. The girls come from 39 schools and 17 towns across the Peninsula, but they share a love for athletics, arts, community, cooking, and coding. Now, we are lucky to welcome them into the Castilleja community.

FROM THEIR ADMISSION APPLICATIONS:

I wonder...

...if I can have multiple careers such as being a scientist, but also an environmentalist, a pianist, or a leader.

...how the COVID pandemic will be in 2030.

...why there is racism in the world and why people are treated differently because of what they look like.

...are there other intelligent species beyond Earth and if we'll get to meet them.

...why many people abuse facts and try to prove themselves right.

...how Castilleja makes girl power work so well.

...how the world works: why plants grow; how trees communicate; and how snowflakes form.
