Materials Development Engineer Experience and Profile: Strong technical background in Materials Science (primarily metals and carbides) Practical experience in a range of deposition technologies for thick protective coatings (laser, PTA, welding) Curious, well organised, structured approach to problem solving and creation of new solutions Excellent international collaboration/communication at technical level Interested in being involved in creation and commercialization of new materials Strong English and second language (French, German, Russian, Japanese) Position: Understand the various Castolin Eutectic wear and corrosion protection technologies such as PTA, Flame Spray, laser, HVOF, Arc Wire Spray, etc and the link to the consumables Plan and conduct practical experiments to understand, optimize key process/materials parameters to improve coatings Contribute to creating and developing innovative technologies leading to patents, technical presentations, literature, etc. Perform literature studies of technical articles, patents, etc to form technical and strategic overviews Liaise with the Global R&D team and technical Specialists in NAFTA, South East Asia and Europe
