PROCEDURE FOR USE:
The complete range of Eutronic Arc Spray wires has been developed by Eutectic using its extensive, practical research experience in advanced metallurgical alloy formulations. This proprietary, composite arc spray wire is custom designed and batch manufactured according to rigorous quality standards needed for demanding. industrial surface engineering applications.
PREPARATION The substrate surface must be perfectly clean and free from all traces of residues, oxides or other contaminants before freshly roughening by appropriate blasting.
The use of refined purity, metal alloy strips which are formed and precision drawn around optimized blends of selected core alloy ingredients, guarantee conductive, composite wires with unique peripheric arc spraying performance benefits Eutronic Arc Spray 502 is a self bonding alloy with enhanced surface wear resistance properties to combat erosion, thermal shock up to 1200°F (650°C), moderate corrosion and oxidization. 502 is normally used without machining in the as sprayed condition.

SPRAY PARAMETERS As spray parameters must be adopted according to the thermal spray system used, contact a Eutectic specialist for further details. FINISHING The sprayed coating may be machined by grinding according to required surface finish specifications.
PACKAGING: EuTronic Arc Spray wires in 1/16“ (1.6 mm) diameter are precision, layer wound on recyclable, wire spools (EN 759 B300) to a standard weight of 15 kg and specially packed for optimum storage protection.
HEALTH & SAFETY: To insure a safe work environment observe normal spraying practices, provide appropriate respiratory protection and pay attention to air flow patterns.
