The Casum awards take a leap forward: a new name and above all an entire dedicated publication, bringing Casum's editorial formats to four. Here then is Casum Awards 2022: a total of 28 awards for the best products presented in 2022 at Salone del Mobile.Milano, FuoriSalone and Cersaie and chosen by Casum, as always in an independent and authorial way. Very different products, but all characterized by a strong dose of personality and a rigorous approach to design. Among the product categories of this edition – furniture,

bathroom, kitchen, appliances, textiles, finishes and coverings – there are absolute novelties standing out, that already taste of evergreen and, on the contrary, re-editions that are back on the scene, current like never before. From the Cono handle by Gio Ponti for Olivari, from 1956, to the Karelia modular lounge seats by Liisi Beckmann for Zanotta, from 1966, up to the Le Mura modular sofa by Mario Bellini for Tacchini, from 1972. Because there are products on the podium, but it is their brands and designers that make them shine.

Casum Awards 2022

The key concept for Casum is selection. Independent and authorial selection of brands, products and trends.

To select the best of the best, the awards of Casum were born in 2017, initially published in the pages of Casum Lookbook. From this 2022 edition they change their name to Casum Awards and it is the right occasion to dedicate a new separate publication to them. The winning products are chosen at Casum's unquestionable judgement among the novelties, new

re-editions or important updates presented at Salone del Mobile.Milano, FuoriSalone and Cersaie each year.

The winners are products with the best design: the basic criteria are personality and formal rigour, to which are added relationship with the past, use of materials and innovation.

These products are real condensations of different design approaches and visual imageries, but all together they tell the story of the current design panorama.
