MARKET NEWS! CONFERENCE PEARS Dutch pears are finished as we await the start of the new season crop. They will be softer than normal, meaning they are prone to bruising. Please handle with care.
RAINBOW CARROTS Heritage bunched rainbow carrots are now on stock and available. These little beauties are a very popular and versatile favourite amongst chefs.
ENGLISH BABY VEG English baby veg are coming through fantastic at the moment. Bunched red, golden, candy beetroots to baby leeks and turnips are available to order.
CELERY Spanish Celery season is almost done as we await the new season English crop. Supplies may be affected as the English season is running about 1-2 weeks behind.
GRAPEFRUIT Prices on both red and white grapefruit remain high. This however reflects the quality well as the South African supply is fantastic.
ENDIVE LETTUCE We will not be moving to English Endive this year due to the lack of blanche on the outer leaves. We will be continuing with the current Spanish supply.
ENGLISH BROCCOLI We will be starting with our English Broccoli grower 'Holland's' in a few weeks. Products will be cut, freshly packed and delivered direct to Caterite within 24 hours.
LOLLO & OAKLEAF We have started working with our local English supplier Brian Forshaw’s who is currently growing some fantastic lollo, oakleaf, flatand crispa lettuces for us.

Leadketty Farm’s
Scottish Strawberries Leadketty has been farming for the past 80 years under the capable stewardship of the Corrigall family. Harold Corrigall and son Stephen manage 16 hectares of strawberries, employing over 100 people every year for the picking season during the long summer months. As they’re situated in the beautiful Ochil Hill many who work for them enjoy the Scottish Lowlands too.
