Trio Lettuce is grown floating on water in polystyrene floats and this dramatically reduces the use of pesticides. This is an ecologically sound way of growing when compared to conventional growing methods. Using hydroponics means the feeding is controlled and constantly at the correct level, enabling the lettuce to grow into it's most exceptional form. When growing Lettuce in this way, producers are able to monitor the best lighting conditions, temperatures throughout the changing months and the nutritional value of the salad vegetable.
