Thanks to the generosity of employees and friends of Catholic Health, the lifesaving work of fellow caregivers both near and far has been enthusiastically supported, with more than $2,000,000 distributed to date.
The 2023 Grant Recipients include:
• Latina Sisters Support, Inc. to expand its network of caregivers who provide medical and financial resources and emotional support to cancer survivors on Long Island.
• Uplift Help International, Inc. to provide durable medical equipment and enhance the ability to collect and store safe water for more than 10,000 people in Nigeria.
• Vimukti Charitable Trust® to construct an affordable health clinic that will serve rural populations across 20 villages in India.
• Life's W.O.R.C. to provide mobility assistance equipment for those diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spinal stenonis, osteoporosis, spastic quadriplegia and more.
• St. Anthony Mitala Maria Health Center III to improve care for more than 5,000 people in Uganda by covering treatment costs and purchasing a complete blood count machine (CBC) and chemistry analysis equipment.
• Take Heart, Inc. to help ensure improved access to health care for thousands of women and children by expanding mobile clinic services' reach.

100% of funds are distributed to health care organizations in the U.S. and elsewhere, with a preference for those with Catholic affiliations, allowing them to provide basic resources to those in need.
