Fungal Toenail Treatment

Toenails infected with nail fungus appear thicker than normal with discoloration below the toenail. Nail fungus may first appear as small white or yellow spots under the tip of the toenail.

As the toenail become increasingly infected the nail may thicken and discolor as well as develop cracked or crumbling edges. Infected nails can separate from the toe causing pain.

If left untreated the infection could spread to adjacent toes and become painful, hindering mobility.
