Present Progressive rules for verbs Most verbs: add ing work → working buy → buying do → doing eat → eating watch → watching
Verbs ending in -e: remove the –e and add ing live → living have → having Verbs ending in one vowel followed by consonant: double the consonant and add ing skip → skipping run → running
We do not use stative verbs with present progressive: believe depend forget hate know like love
