A double digit calving ease, super efficient female that possesses a long spine, big rib and powerful hind leg and stems from a dam that combines Enhance, VAR Ranger and the legendary $80,000 Rimrock and Oak Points Lab donor, Rita Y05C. She sells with Lot 79A, a heifer calf out of Sitz Spectrum born 1/14/2023.

Welcome to the 6th Annual Gabriel Ranch Sale at their pristine ranch in Central East Texas. Ron Gabriel and his wife Lana have assembled one of the most elite sets of Angus genetics in the southwest. Ron is a true businessman and runs his Angus operation like his oil and gas business, if they are not sound, fertile or highly maternal they leave, no exceptions. Lana is a true perfectionist, a wonderful woman, and makes everything she touches have her own personal touch on it. Their manager Andy Maupin along with his wife Brandy need no introduction to the Angus world and is considered one of the best in the business, and I concur. Ron and Lana are joined again this year by their son Brad Gabriel and their daughter Dedra and her husband Tommy Goodson. Both of these families continue to build their elite Angus herds and market them under the Gabriel Ranch brand.
We lead this year’s sale off with Lot 1, a breeding masterpiece, one that has it all three P’s (performance, phenotype & power). This Regiment daughter is the Number 1 $C female by her sire, offers an awesome growth spread, top 1% carcass traits and a structure and soundness second to none out of a cow family that has put as many AI sires in studs as any. The real deal here!!!! The Lot 2 donor is another one that I really admire. She has that awesome combination of maternal and power we strive to achieve with a number set that vaults her into the top of the breed. Lot 3 is just flat sweet and is the full sister to Gaucho. Lot 4 is one of the best ever out of the high maternal Woodhill program that has fleshing ability, and Lot 5 is one flashy Fireball with the best balanced EPD profile out there! I love the fall ET Lots 6 & 7 and the spring open Lots 10A, 10C & 15. The donor Lot 17 is a gem and no where will you find a more powerful female with bone, foot size and mass. My favorite fall bred heifers include 21, 22 & 24, and I love the Lot 39 pair in the fall pairs as well as Lot 43 fall bred cow. We finish the females off with the spring calvers, and I’m excited for the crowd to see Lots 58, 59 & 60. We are offering a fine set of bulls that have been raised in East Texas and are acclimated to her hash environment. My favorites in here are 200, 224 & 238.
I hope to see you all in Grand Saline, Texas, on Friday, March 24, and Saturday, March 25. If you can’t make it, feel free to call me, Matt or Andy, and we will be glad to assist you any way we can.
Sincerely,
Parker Friedrich
