SCHACHER AUCTION SERVICES Robert Schacher 817-219-0102 PO Box 33804, Fort Worth, Texas 76162 r_schacher@msn.com • www.schacherauction.com Dear Friends and Cattle Producers, On behalf of the breeders that represent this great offering, I would like to welcome you to the Pacific Northwest Invitational Wagyu Sale. Today’s cattle industry is certainly facing interesting times. Our nation’s cow herd is as low as it has been since the 1950s and that inventory must feed nearly triple the population. This situation has created an unprecedented market for cattle. Therefore, today’s consumer demands a high quality healthy choice for their beef buying dollar, and Wagyu are uniquely positioned to meet this demand. As you take time to study this catalog, I am confident that you will find that the breeders involved in this sale are offering you a great opportunity to invest in Wagyu Genetics that will benefit any herd. I encourage all of you to attend the American Wagyu Association Convention in the days prior to this sale to meet and exchange information with other Wagyu breeders, and attend some truly educational programs. I look forward to meeting and visiting with each of you. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Sincerely,
Robert Schach er Robert Schacher

9029W was the National Grand Champion Fullblood Wagyu Bull at the 2012 National Western Stock Show in Denver, Colorado this last January. His sire, TF149 Mitsuhikokura, is a son of the Hikokura dam line, which is the base of the Takeda Wagyu herd. TF149 is known as the thickest bull in Wagyu and has the highest percentage of Shimane bloodline of all bulls exported out of Japan. 9029W’s dam, TBR Tomiko 2 7040T, is Don’s highest producing donor dam with over $100,000 in sales of offspring and genetics. She is a very balanced female in a moderate frame. 7040T is sired by Bar R 12P, and her dam is a Michifuku daughter. 1014X is a large framed bull sired by TF147 Itoshigefuji, which is largest Foundation Fullblood Wagyu bull weighing in excess of 2,400 pounds. TF147 is the result of Modoshikouhai (back crossing) with Itofuji, from the Fujimori line. Combining the Fujimori (supersized) and Itomichi line (good marbling) produced this bull with large frame size and good marbling. TF147 is well known throughout the industry for producing excellent Fullblood Wagyu females. 1014X’s dam is CF504, a daughter of TF148 Itoshigenami over an Itomichi sired daughter. TF148 has the highest percentage of Kumanami line genetics outside of Japan having a double cross of Shigekanenami on his sire side plus another line through his maternal grandsire. TF148 is known for producing excellent carcasses with fine, white marbling. We believe this bull has a lot of potential, and we are using him on our second calf high Tajima females to make replacement heifers and feeder steers. He is a Group C bull.
