This year’s semen guide is live! We cannot express enough how much we greatly appreciate everyone’s support in our program as we continue to grow and better serve you. Whether you A.I. a lot of cows or just like to learn and see where our program is going, we feel as if this catalog will be very beneficial to you and your operation. Each year we travel and view many operations to see how our genetics compare and also search for the newest and greatest genetics we can find. We insure you that if you see a bull with the “Gibbs Farms” name attached to it, that we have personally seen the bull and have great confidence in him. • Primal was the $50,000 high selling bull from 2024 Cow Camp Ranch production sale. He is the most exciting SimAngus bull to sell this spring and appears to be the future go to spread bull that you can breed to heifers and add back some of the muscle in the lower quarter that you have been missing. Expect Primal to have one of the largest sire groups of calves in the Simmental breed in the near future. He is a no-holes sire that will simply improve every trait in one generation.

• Haymaker was the $20,000 high selling SimAngus bull in our 2023 production sale. He is a bull that was admired for his impressive eye appeal, bone, and shape. Haymaker is a bull that can add performance without adding frame, but instead with width and dimension. He is the next generation from the Triple Crown and Hilltop linage that we are excited about. He is high performing, high carcass, and highly fertile. He froze semen immediately and we were able to breed him to several cows this fall!

• Kenworth is simply our “go to” and highest customer satisfaction proven bull we have to offer. He is a bull that consistently adds muscle, depth of body, and overall shape. His calves come light and are always the heaviest in the weaning pen and yearling pen. Kenworth improves docility and foot shape as well. We have just calved out his first daughters and are extremely pleased with their udder quality and teat shape.

• The $28,000 high selling bull in our 2022 production sale. Much like his sire, admired for his striking eye appeal and foot quality. Kingpin exhibits a tick more growth and marbling than his sire while still keeping his CE and BW EPD in check. His first calves are on the ground, and we are blown away. We went back this fall and used him really hard. Expect big things from the sire and a new photo by November!

• The proven genomic giant of the breed. His CE to BW to YW to Carcass EPDs are simply unmatched! He has been a high customer satisfaction bull for many years now with no sign of slowing down. He’s a heifer bull that still has plenty of growth to him.

• Hilltop’s first calves were well received and were one of the high selling sire groups in our fall 2023 production sale. He is the triple crown son is explosive in his growth and still loaded with marbling and carcass. If you are looking for a bull to add pounds and pay weight, here you go. His dam is a beautiful uddered LD CAPITALIST 316 daughter who was also #1 in her weaning contemporary. If you get paid by the pound, this is a bull that needs serious consideration.

Possibly the best TAHOE son of any breed and backed by Lassle’s best cow (full sib to LRS FALCON). A royal lineage and superb physical attributes leave you excited about this bulls potential.

• Stone cold is so much more than a pretty face. He is a bull that will add depth of body, length, and will improve disposition and foot quality. Physically, they are level, big topped, and easy fleshing and always catch your eye with their striking balance. We have just calved out his first daughters and he is an absolute udder improver and adds milk He is a dual-purpose herd sire that will move your program in the right direction no doubt!

• Recently deceased, Mountaineer has left us with a ton of beautiful daughters. Mountaineer was known for being one of the most productive SimAngus bulls we have ever owned and he simply was a no-holes bull. At 10 years of age, he bred his last cow hear naturally, but we will continue to use this dominant sire. Get your semen now before it’s all gone!

• The $30,000 high selling bull from Cow Camp Ranch. Lay a solid foundation to your herd with BEDROCK. He is a rare heifer bull that will add scrotal size and body mass. It is rare to find a heifer bull with this much power and mass. He is a bull that we are extremely excited about and plan to use heavily this breeding season. In our opinion he is definitely the best SimAngus heifer bull to sale of the entire 2023 sale season. His first calves are on the ground in Kansas and he is going to be a confirmed heifer bull.

• The $27,000-second-high selling bull from Cow Camp Ranch. When we went out west looking for new genetics, we were in search for a power bull and a calving ease bull. Admittedly, we noticed Bedrock pretty easy and overlooked Fire Power in the catalog. When we got there and first saw Fire Power we quickly said, “what is he” and “we have to own this bull.” Fire power blew us away with his overall look and build. He is a bull that could probably win any show in the country. Uniquely he has about as much marbling, bone, and growth out of any power bull we have seen as well. His first calves are on the ground in Nebraska, and he is confirmed to be a power bull with modest birthweight that will add bone and style!

• The $50,000 phenotype standout from Rydeen Simmentals. Roll Call is a bull that is a true balance bull and is about versatile as any bull we have to offer. Global’s best son we could find, and offers a tick more middle and phenotype than his sire. What is so unique about him as a ¾ blood is that you can mate him to purebreds to make outcross purebreds or to SimAngus to make SimAngus bulls. Expect him to make beautiful daughters!

• The $36,000 high selling bull from our 2020 production sale. He is a bull that is essential for you to use this breeding season. His progeny are topping sales all over the country. Bred for Balance son sold for $110,000, Rydeen Simmentals a son sold for $95,000, and a daughter here sold for $15,000. He is a bull that is simply unmatched in terms of CE and YW. His first daughters have calved out and he is definitely and udder improver. If you want your calves to start small and grow big, look at Essential.
