The Female Offering - Bred Heifers
LOT 13 - HEFTE RANCH K10
Stayablilty is the name of the game with this heifer’s bloodline. Her dam, nineyear-old Hefte Ranch C98 has a 365-day calving interval with 8 natural calves produced. We elevated this cow to our donor program where she has produced an additional 7 calves from one flush, including Hefte Ranch K165 ET below and bull, Hefte Ranch K163 ET, both featured in this year’s sale. Her granddam Hefte Ranch 229, produced calves every year until she was 18 years of age. K10’s sire is Hefte Ranch G18, a KR 191/13 son, so she gets longevity and fertility from both sides of her pedigree. Sells safe in calf to low birthweight bull, Red Doc Incinerator 1005, a bull we own in partnership with BlackTip Cattle Co. Incinerator has a top 10% IMF EPD and a top 3% BF EPD, to go with his top 1% BW EPD!

LOT 14 - HEFTE RANCH K165 ET
This gentle, polled ET heifer is a half sib to the K10 heifer shown above. Same incredible dam with a 365 day calving interval after 8 calves, but this time crossed with our senior herd sire, Hefte Ranch F14 Tomcat. Stayability, fertility and carcass come together in this mating. This heifer has a balanced EPD profile across the board.
