The Bull Offering
LOT 80 - SR CROSSFIRE 621/J3
621/J13 is a product of one of our most successful flushes crossing the SR Marksman 33/19 bull with the Briggs 621F6 donor cow. Prior to losing his dam, 621F6, she had a calving interval of 327 days after two calves. He is a full brother to Avery Strait’s 621/J12 show heifer that was Reserve Grand Champion at the Cattleman’s Congress Open Show as well as the 621/J9 heifer selling in this year’s sale. His maternal sister was our high selling bred heifer in last year’s sale, SR Ms Uno ET 621/J4, that sold to Carleton Farms and Bended Steel for $17,000. Although this bull has 10 EPDs that currently rank in the Top 20% or better and possesses a 7.0 ADJ IMF (Ratio 135) we are probably more impressed with his phenotype. We collected this young bull last spring and have used him in our AI program.

LOT 81 - SR GUNS & ROSES 23/K2
23/K2 is an own son of our National Champion SR Hazel 23/7 cow and sired by one of our favorite bulls, Harris GUNS UP 216/5. Circle L Ranches purchased a flush in the SR Hazel 23/7 cow for $17,000 in last year’s sale and her offspring continue to exceed our expectations. We love stacking genetics and this young prospect goes back to the WR NEW MILLENNIUM H233 bull three times. With 7 EPDs ranking in the Top 35% or better this bull allows you to chase performance without giving up phenotype.
