This Hefte Ranch El Primero son makes us proud! He is very attractive phenotypically, he has plenty of breed character and he comes from a really solid cow line. We almost sold his dam a couple of years ago but we pulled her out of Tried & True due to an injury. Needless to say, we are sure glad that happened.. apparently she was meant to stay at Hefte Ranch. K85 has top 10% WW and YW, combined with top 3% REA. With this set of bloodlines, we think he will make some very pretty and productive replacement heifers.

Another really attractive El Primero son - seems to be a trend here! K63 is easy keeping, easy to handle and a very well- rounded bull. His dam is a half sib to the Hefte Ranch D25 bull that is now owned by Creech Farms and 5J’s Beef & Cattle. K63 lines up so many of our top bloodlines, back to Red Doc Top Shelf, Red Doc 3162, AJH 126/0 and Hefte F14 Tomcat. He is out of a first calf heifer and has a 611 adj WW. As an El Primero son, he brings a very balanced and strong EPD set to the table with seven traits in the top 25%.

Another El Primero son out of a Hefte Ranch D25 daughter. This bull features line bred Briggs 039/5, a female that made a huge impact on our herd, with her last calf produced at age 17! She was one of the first cows we deemed qualified as a donor in our ET program and she is the granddam of F14 Tomcat. This bull features a really strong set of EPDs across the board, with top 4% REA and top 10% WW.
