Oscar is a son of the renown Richmond Zodiac, a cornerstone herd bull of the Richmond Ranch. On the female side is the well known B Bar Foxtrot. The combination of these two individuals raised the bar in the Limousin breed in terms of traditional muscle shape, hair and performance. In an attempt to make our cow herd more uniform, we partnered with our friends at Pinnacle View Limousin on the Sting bull. During his first breeding season the Oscar bull so impressed us in terms of conception and the way he kept his condition along with his incredible sound structure, we knew we wanted his brother. This hetero polled full brother to the Oscar bull has over 280 half siblings in the CLA handbook, relating to how popular these genetics are withinour breed. We are very proud of the way this pair of herd bulls have consistently produced on our Zipper and Slate females.

In this offering there has been a “changing of the guard” in terms of our herd sire pen. Both the B Bar Slate and the Tref Zipper bulls have been retired after active service leading our program.Slate’s influence will live on through the docility and overall exceptional females in terms of udder structure and easy doing ability.
