Welcome and thank you for your interest in our Second Annual Bull and Female Sale We extend our appreciation to everyone who has supported our program over the years Our family operates a mixed farm and ranch in Deadwood, Alberta, just an hour north of Peace River We focus on a maternal Angus and Simmental Angus cross commercial herd that calves at the end of April This past year blessed us with excellent growing conditions, strong cattle prices, and the invaluable support of family, friends, and customers As we transition into the third generation, with Cole joining us full-time, we eagerly anticipate our 2025 sale lineup and future prospects for 2026
Our commitment to quality is evident in our culling process, focusing on disposition, udder, foot, and leg structure Our bulls are developed moderately and slowly on a diet of forage, oat/pea and annual mix silage, with no creep feeding Our females selected for the sale are all home raised using the same culling principles

Sale starts March 9th at 8 AM and closes March 10th at 6 PM with racehorse style timed sale with soft close and extended bidding

Retaining Interest: The seller reserves the right to collect “owners use” semen from any bull in the sale at the sellers expense and buyers convenience
Breeding Guarantee: All bulls will be semen tested by a licensed veterinarian prior to the sale all deferred bulls will be noted as such. All Heifers have been verified bred and palpated for breeding soundness by a licensed veterinarian
Terms: All cattle purchases will be invoiced to the buyer, and payment in form of e-transfer or cheque will be accepted. Payment is required upon receiving the invoice. Cattle will not be released from the sale premises until payment is received in full, unless other arrangements have been made prior to the sale. Every animal sells to the highest bidder. We reserve the right to withhold animals from shipment for whom payments have not been received prior to departure times.
Buyer Registration: Buyer will have to register with DLMS prior to Farmgate timed auction at www.farmgatetimedauctions.ca.
Purchaser’s Risk and Insurance: Ownership risk to purchaser commences immediately following auction. We strongly recommend that insurance is purchased.
Announcements: any changes or announcements made on sale days take precedence over any printed material

Delivery
Bull purchases include free delivery up to 300km and until April 1st. Feed costs are free until April 1st, $5/day after April 1st, 2025. Females must picked up within a week of the sale.
