The following has been in the catalogue before but we strongly believe that what we state has merit and is worth repeating.
As you know from my speech each year, putting information and pictures under each bull can be challenging. Videos and seeing the bulls for yourself will give you more than my words and pictures will.
There are a lot of bulls for sale that are heavier than these fellows, but please keep in mind there is no creep here, just mother’s milk and grass. These bulls are pail fed their pellets, twice a day, after being weaned. All weights in this catalogue are ACTUAL weights not adjusted weights, along with the scale that is behind you, doing all the weighing. We aim for 3 pounds of gain per day which we believe grows our bulls at a level that should not affect their future performance in their breeding years.
We know that most of you will be just starting to calve, making it a busy time for most of you at this time of year. We sincerely hope the weather will be favorable for you in your calving season. The bulls are here before the sale so you can look at them at your convenience any time. With having DLMS Auction at our sale gives you the opportunity to view before the sale and use their service for sale day.
Our culling practise has helped us build a strong herd of momma cows which by the way is never ending. We work hard at maintaining fertility, calving ease, maternal, quiet and easy functional doing cattle.
