WELCOME TO THE 2025 STEWART LIMOUSIN BULL SALE
It’s been 50 years since Stewart Limousin’s first production sale and over 50 years since Wilbur, the one who started it all for our family, began breeding and raising this breed we all take such pride in. Now we continue to raise the Limousin cattle he and Melva loved. We have seen the industry grow. We have participated in and found success in purebred sales, bull test stations, purebred shows, finishing animals in feedlots, and grandkids and now great grandkids showing Limousin and Limousin influenced calves in 4-H.
Looking back at that original catalogue from 50 years ago it is easy to see that we, as a breed, have maintained the best of the breed traits and improved some of the lesser desired. Back in that catalogue Wilbur talked about dressing percentage, fertility and ease of calving. Traits we all still appreciate.
And now on to this year. We are excited to share our 2025 sale offering with you. We have 32 two year old bulls this year and we are excited to have Brandon and Sam Nemetz joining us again with 10 bulls as well.
We would like to thank our buyers from previous years, you are essential to our business. We would love to hear how those bulls are doing in your herds. We would also love to discuss our program with prospective buyers, give us a call and let us know what you’re looking for.
As in previous years, the bull sale will be live at the farm on Family Day - February 17, 2025. Cattle will be available for viewing on sale day or anytime leading up to it. Please give us a call and we‘ll make sure one of us is available to give you a tour and a cup of coffee. If you are unable to attend in person sale day there will be people available for phone bids or bids can be made online at DLMS.
Calf prices have been great this year and there is optimism in the cattle industry. It s a good time to buy a new bull and try some new blood lines in your herd.

This is a bull were extremely excited for. I could go on and on about what I appreciate about him but he's truly one to see in the flesh. we had teamed up with Twisted K Ranch to purchase a flush from a group of cows at B Bar cattle and it was an easy decision to go with B Bar Nicole 1D and felt Sirloin Guardian was the perfect choice to breed her to. Lethal Weapon was the resulting calf from our half of the embryos and has been impressive from day one. we reserve the right to collect 100 straws of in herd use semen.

Here is another powerful bull from our "SIM-LIM" program. This is something we have been working on for a few years now and have really liked the results from. Bulls like this would make a great option to keep replacements off of to add a little milk and softness without giving up the muscle, length and other Limousin breed characteristics we love. He is also safe to use as a calving ease option.

We’re excited to introduce our newest herd bull SIRLOIN LAWLESS. This is the type of bull we strive to produce and expect he’s going to make a great impact in our herd’s future. Stout, heavy muscle, docile, strong footed and sound structured are just a few of the many positive traits he possesses.
His dam, Sirloin Ariel, has been a real no miss cow for us keeping 10/10 calves. We have either retained her heifers for the herd or sold her bulls at the top end of our sales. She’s an extremely sound moderate cow with a beautiful udder and feet.
To top it off Lawless is sired by Paynes Tank RPY 12G who has been a constant producer for us but sadly we had lost him 2 years ago to injury so this is the perfect opportunity for us to carry on his genetics.

Welcome to the 2025 Stewart Limousin and Redline Bull Sale, we are very excited to present this year’s bull offering. We feel with today’s cattle market it is necessary to add pounds to calves every step of the way. Our bulls are bred with the cattle producer in mind, selecting for length of spine, width of body, and muscle expression. All while maintaining sound structure, calving ease, and vigour that we know and expect from the Limousin Breed. Purchase our bulls with confidence knowing that we stand behind our bulls and will back our product. All bulls are born on grass, raised on grass then put on a high forage diet with longevity of the animal kept in mind. If you have any questions about the Redline bulls, feel free to stop in anytime for a coffee and a tour of the cattle.

This will be a video sale. Bulls will be on site for viewing but not ran through a ring.
TRUCKING & DELIVERY
Free delivery within 500kms of the Ranch. Trucking arrangements can be coordinated and arranged for extended distances at the buyer’s cost. Any buyers who pick up their bulls before March 1, 2025, will receive a credit of $500 from the seller towards a fu ture purchase. Any bulls left at the farms must be insured and will be boarded for free until May 1, 2025, after such time a charge of $3.50/day a head will apply.

We as the sellers guarantee that every lot put up for sale has been vet checked semen tested prior to sale day and is sold with the knowledge that we will stand behind our product 100%. We are never liable for more that the purchase value of the animal. Cash or cheque will be made payable at the clerk’s desk sale day, please talk to us prior to the sale if any further arrangements need to be made. During the sale if there are any disputes, the auctioneer will open the bid between those two parties and those two parties only; the auctioneer’s decision in this matter will be final.
Anything announced on the block during the sale will take precedence over any written material.
We as the sellers reserve the right to collect in herd use semen on any of the bulls in the sale offering and will be done at our expense and the buyers convenience.
