Barcelona
I am a landscape architecture student currently in my final year of university. Through my time at university I have worked on a series of design and technical projects that explore various landscape proposals and ideas. Through my early years of childhood I spent significant time in Barcelona where some of my earliest memories of play still resonate today. The concept of play in landscape architecture forms a key part of many of my projects and through this portfolio, I have sampled elements which aim to show a variety of design and landscape skills.
Creating proposals for landscapes that are more inclusive and can evolve over time are the parts of Landscape Architecture I enjoy most. Many of my designs aim to create spaces for existing users but most importantly for the future generations that can be adapted as educational and creative points within a landscape. I have explored both urban and rural spaces with different intentions behind each of my designs. I believe it is important to create a balanced dynamic for both people and nature in the future of the landscape we design.

TREETOP CYCLE TRACK
This project explores how play can be used as a tool for regeneration, specifically in the context of an urban park. The project builds on research I completed about accessibility and play in Hackney throughout my dissertation. The project's main attraction will be a treetop cycle track that feeds through the site connecting existing sport and play spaces as well as creating better access and more usable spaces.

The masterplan explores the implementation of a treetop cycle track at different levels through the canopy. The project seeks to uncover how the site can become more playful and build on the existing sporting history.
West Hendon Canopy Park
Modelling the Track: I explored three types of cycle track arrangements to see how the different levels would change with the topography. This was then applied to a larger portion of the site to see how they would work alongside one another.
Split Cycle Track - Footpath and cycle track are on different levels to offer different viewpoints .
Embedded Cycle Track- Track and footpath are both designed into and with the topography.
Canopy Track - The track its built at equal levels despite changes in topography.
Amphitheatre Lookout: A place to stop along the cycle track and explore the wildlife on the reservoir
CLIMATE HUB
This project is centred around the redundant Whitesands Quarry in Barns Ness. It explores a transformation of a disused rural site into an educational and ecological hub that will catalyse future change for the climate as well as lifetime knowledge for students and visitors. The site will be filled with actors and agents, each responsible for learning, teaching or making change to the site over the course of 40 years. By making ecological and structural change in critical points throughout the site a model will evolve that can be used for education purposes at present day and then transferred onto similar sites around the area in future years to come.

CREATIVE HUB
This urban project focuses on the regeneration of a post industrial site in Edinburgh located by Edinburgh's shoreline. The aim is to utilise existing buildings as a framework for the development of a creative space for students and professionals. The existing lighthouse has already been converted into music studios and the aim will be to convert the surrounding areas into similar spaces such as art and rentable studios. The landscape has been designed as spaces for creativity for new generations as well as expanding some spaces into outdoor exhibition spaces.

This project explored a further detailed planting design. I proposed two flower beds with different design aims (smell and pollination) alongside a coastal walkway leading to a proposed new built development to connect the two spaces.
CLEANING THE RIVER CLYDE
Glasgow has fast become a space for regenerating post-industrial spaces. The River Clyde runs through Glasgow and through the Yoker area. For this project I have proposed a new catchment for schools that help to connect parks whilst regenerating a space to become a new swimming and recreational area for school children.
