The project is situated on a sloped site in San Francisco, a gridded urban context which has a section difference to assure a multilevel circulation system that drives the slippage from plan to section. In this type of site the building can be approached from several perspectives. The program is a school, that includes elementary, middle, and high; a building that could be read in time, in a course of 12 years. In this sense, it is perceived differently according to age, time spent in the building and whether the subject is a student or a visitor.

The foundation of the building was composed by a reinforced concrete perimeter wall on strip footings and isolated footings connected by straps as the basis of the new foundation. The sanitary drenage system consisted of an internal plumbimg which carried the sewage water to a public sewer and an external system which channeled rainwater to the public roadway.
