*Students are required to complete one class on the Cazenovia College campus. The course will be offered over two weekends. Housing will be provided.
Program Eligibility Students with an earned associate’s degree in early childhood or childhood education or 60 transferrable college credits with required pre-requisites are eligible.

Application Process
Earn Teacher Certification The Inclusive Elementary Education program option leads toward New York State initial teacher certification in Childhood Education, Grades 1 to 6, and in Teaching Students with Disabilities, Grades 1 to 6. The Inclusive Early Childhood Education program option leads toward New York State initial teacher certification in Early Childhood, Birth to Grade 2, and in Teaching Students with Disabilities, Birth to Grade 2. Both programs contain core liberal arts and sciences courses, professional education courses, and multiple supervised field experiences culminating in student teaching. These programs are accredited by AAQEP.
