Senior Taylor McFarland is scheduled to speak at the Alpha Chi Honor Society Induction Ceremony on April 11. Families of inductees, President Tierno, Dean Dettmer and Faculty/Staff will be in attendance.
Fashion Studies Seniors Quieesha Burns, Darwin Gordon, Shontay Lewis and Sadé Paige will reveal their senior collections at the 41st Annual Caz Fashion Show on April 26.
This just in... junior Nick Morciglio has landed the summer position he hoped for - at J. Crew in NYC! He reports that the store, located on Fifth Avenue, is the largest J. Crew in the world and he is looking forward to working there.

Project REACH Members’ Reviews of “Chinglish” On Saturday, March 1, several Project REACH members went to Syracuse Stage to see “Chinglish,” a comedy about the “misadventures of miscommunication.” According to junior Brittany Wilkinson, the show was “Hilarious! Provocative! 7 out of 10.” Junior Ellie Boone reported, I thought that the play was a great show and it made me laugh quite a bit! It just goes to show that a simple miscommunication can often times be very misconstrued, so it is important to always use vocabulary that the person who you are addressing or communicating with will understand. I had a lot of foreign exchange student friends in high school and I also studied
abroad here at Caz, and there are sometimes many words that are spelled and pronounced the same, but have very different meanings. It is just funny to learn about the difference between language and culture. Language barriers are sometimes very hard to overcome

because sometimes something could be slightly misinterpreted, but it messes up the entire objective altogether. I thoroughly enjoyed the play, and I am proud to be a member of Project REACH and offered to attend these events.

Calling All Project REACH Artists
Project REACH’s Academic Coordinator, Kayle Light, competed on March 29 in the 2014 Muddy Tire Mountain Bike Race on Long Island. According to Kayle, the 13-mile race through the mountains “was a rainy mess. The trail was very narrow, so everyone was hitting the trees while making their way around winding paths. I kept pressing on and when I saw the finish line, I couldn’t be happier!”
