• Student Parking on Thursday 1/26

The annex parking lot behind Williams Memorial Church will be closed this Thursday, 1/26 for a funeral. Student parking will be limited. Please carpool or coordinate a drop-off. There is some additional parking on MLK, however, you may not park in the staff or faculty parking lots in front of Bertram Hall, the main school buildings, or along the STEM wing. Thanks for your cooperation.

• JR Retreats Limited spots are open for the March and April retreats. Those JRs who are thinking about being part of the Sr. Retreat Leadership Team next year are highly encouraged to participate in either of these. Application to apply for SRLT will be available in the LSLO 1/25.

• Valentine’s Sadie Hawkins Dance | February 4: CBHS Student Council will be hosting an all-school dance from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Ron Limeberger Gymnasium on Saturday, February 4. CB students may bring ONE guest from another school. Students who bring a guest who is not from Chesterton Academy, Cristo Rey, Jesuit High School, or St. Francis High School, must complete a Guest Pass Request Form and return it to Mrs. Powers in the LSLO no later than Wed., Feb. 1. Tickets are $11/person and can be purchased here.

• Seniors applying to Community College! Come to room 103 at lunch on Wednesday 1/25 where a Sac. City Rep will be available to help with your application. You will need your Social Security Number to complete an application. See Mrs. Melarkey or Ms. McClellan with questions.

• The Clothes Closet will not be open during lunch on 1/25. Another day will be scheduled soon. Thanks for your patience.

• SAT Prep If you are interested in signing up for our Spring SAT Prep Class, please come by the counseling center to pick up a copy of the registration form. This SAT Prep Class will take place here on campus from Feb 11th, 18th, 25th and March 4th . Space is limited so please come down to pick up a form if you are interested. The final day to sign up is Feb. 3rd: no exceptions!

• Parking Permits: A CB parking permit must be displayed from the rear-view mirror to park on campus during school hours! If you have not obtained a permit, you must park on the street in front of the school.

• Seniors: If you applied to colleges that require a midyear transcript (7th semester) please come to Counseling to pick up a Blue request form!

• No Tardy Party- At the beginning of the 2nd semester, all student class tardy counts have been reset to zero (0). As an added incentive to arrive to class on time this semester, we are bringing back the No Tardy Party (pizza, ice cream sundaes, popsicles, etc) to be held at the end of the 2nd semester for all students who complete the semester with zero tardies.

• Drop-in Peer Tutoring is now available in the ARC, Room 109. Any student can drop by room 109, the Academic Resource Center, 30 minutes before and after school to get help on any academic subject. Students from the Peer Tutoring Club will be there to help you. Do you want to be matched with a tutor to meet regularly for help with a single subject?
