In Myanmar, Cherry and her husband work hard to support their family. Cherry makes bricks and washes clothes while her husband works in construction. Even when jobs are available, feeding their five children is a challenge. However, when work is slow or unobtainable, both parents and children suffer. “My tummy feels so empty,” Cherry’s son explained. “And my heart starts to beat fast.”

But generous CBN partners helped halt the hunger. Through an after-school program supported by CBN’s Orphan’s Promise, the children now have access to healthy meals. Cherry’s family also receives food packs.

Because of your faithful partnership, CBN helped Cherry earn additional income by providing what she needed to sell vegetables—including a bicycle to transport the produce. This increases her flexibility so she can spend time with her children.
