CFP4 Transceiver
A CFP4 transceiver is a combination of transmitter and receiver (transmitter and receiver) for the transmission of optical signals. The CFP4 transceiver uses an electronic-optical converter to translate the signals within the CFP4 transceiver. For transmission, the CFP4 transceiver uses LEDs or lasers. The reception of signals with CFP4 transceivers is via a PIN or APD detector. CFP4 transceivers can be used in various hardware systems such as switches, servers, HBAs, etc. CFP4 transceivers typically have an LC duplex connector. Furthermore, CFP4 transceivers are hot pluggable and thus can be used or removed during operation.
Types of CFP4 Transceivers are available BlueOptics CFP4 transceivers are available in the following variations: 1 Duplex CFP4 transceiver Optical CFP4 transceivers are available as multi-mode or singlemode versions.
If you want to use a CFP4 transceiver variation, which is not listed here, please contact us! We are pleased to produce CFP4 transceivers according to your requirements. 2 Applications can use with a CFP4 Transceiver The most common applications used for the CFP4 transceivers are: 1. Ethernet 2. SDH / SONET 3. Fiber Channel CFP4 transceivers reach distances of up to 10KM on single mode glass fibers. CBO also offers special solutions to achieve greater distances with CFP4 transceivers.
