Branding Project - Fracking
Fracking
2nd year project This project was based on creating an image for an unknown cause. We had to choose something that influenced us, but something that people were not fully aware about. So i chose to go with Fracking, its a natural process in which oil is extracted from beneath the ground, but can have very dangerous consequences. So through branding i had to bring it to the public eye and expose all of the threats that are uncovering to date.

Branding Project - The Fallow
The Fallow 1st year project
In this project we had to incorporate an animal theme of our choice, it could range from a frog to an elephant and we had to put it into a new brand of our choice. So that could be anything from a shop to a factory, sportswear company ect. Once we had a basic logo and concept for our brand identification we had to show our work on a list of real day to day items. So for me i did a pub restaurant theme, so menus, shirts, glasses, name sign ect. The animal i chose to link into my theme was a deer (Fallow).

Interactive Project - Porsche
Porsche App 2nd year project
For this project we had to create an app from a set number of different choices. It had to be based on one of the 10 options our tutors gave us. From this we had to make a fully functional and coded App, Mobile phone app, Website etc one of our own choice. We had to publish it to a selected device of our choosing so in my case my nexus 7 tablet. Then we were required to do a presentation in order to show how our app has developed and functions. To the right is a mock up of what my app looked like on tablet.

Publishing Project - Book
Publishing Book 2nd year project
This brief was a little bit more complicated. At the beginning of the project we got told to create a publication of any kind, it could of been digital, hard copy ect. I chose to make a digital version for issuu and a hard copy for my portfolio. We would have to explore a wide range of techniques and try to involve as much as we could into our publication. My publication was based on the classes of 2012-2015, Illustration and Graphic design. I chose to display peoples work in a brochure manner.

Self Promo - Website
Self Promo 2nd year project
For this project we had to create a flash based or HTML coded website. It was up to us whether or not it was live or not, i chose not to as i used flash and wanted to create a better one in the summer holidays. I chose a dark theme for my layout color as it expresses how i feel about my design, professional and simple. But at the same time it means that i like good design and i don't over do what needs to be done.

External Project - Penguin book
Penguin Award 2nd year project
We had to chose an external brief online and design a piece for it. I chose to design a book cover for the upcoming Penguin random house awards. It had to be based on What a carve up! a novel by Jonathan Cox. Font used: Moon Flower - I got permission from this incredible font artist to display his font in my competition piece. Personal Work - Amy Lang Logo
Amy Lang 2nd year project
A bit of personal work i chose to do for Photographer Amy Lang (year 2). I wanted to link in the camera icon with her logo, as it was what she requested and wanted. I didn't no and wasn't to sure of having it in there but i feel that it filled an empty space. The far bottom logo was my favorite, as simple as it is it looks slick and very effective on her photographic work. She also loved the design and said she would like me to also design her website for her in the near future.
