And in a way, they did. Fashion in fall 2013 welcomes with open arms the peculiar mix of darkly romantic and just plain dark. So leather jackets, thigh-high boots and floaty white dresses that call to mind Kirsten Dunst in Melanchloia aren’t such a disparate mix, after all.
