Don't let the news of the wild fires stop you from booking a river trip. Skies have been blue, and rafters are having a blast.

confluence of the North and South Forks of the Payette. Co-owned by Ben Florence and Phil White, Bear Valley has been in business since 1987. Each trip is led by experienced guides who love to share their passion for the river with beginners and whitewater veterans alike. Some trips can even accommodate children as young as four!
In fact, Bear Valley Rafting Company is running four of their five raft trips, with just one affected by the fires. The experienced staff are ready to take you and your group on a fantastic adventure, be it half or full day.
All trips include the requisite life jackets, helmets, and paddles. Optional gear such as wetsuits are offered as well and are free of charge. Because everyone paddles, rafters get much more than a mere “ride-along” experience. Along with the excitement of the white water, there are spots along both rivers that allow for a cool swim. The North Fork is a bit mellower, with rapids reaching class three, or small waves and/or drops, which are exciting, but perhaps more suited for beginners and younger

Reviewing Idaho's Bike Laws
Traffic seems to have increased dramatically over the past few months, so, with school starting soon, we thought it might be a good idea to review what's legal on a bike — and what's not.
I
daho Code Title 49, Chapter 7 is something every bicyclist and parent will want to read. Drivers, who in this area, will see bicyclists on the roadways every day, might want to take a look, as well. Here we’ve outlined portions of the Code as it applies to riding on sidewalks and roadways and obeying traffic signals. Please read the full Code by clicking HERE. 49-717. POSITION ON HIGHWAY. (1) Any person operating a bicycle upon a roadway at less than the normal speed of traffic at the time and place and under the conditions then existing shall ride as close as practicable to the righthand curb or edge of the roadway except under any of the following situations: (a) When overtaking and passing another bicycle or vehicle proceeding in the same direction.
(b) When preparing for a left turn at an intersection or into a private road or driveway. (c) When reasonably necessary to avoid conditions including fixed or moving objects, parked or moving vehicles, bicycles, pedestrians, animals, surface hazards or substandard width lanes that make it unsafe to continue along the right-hand curb or edge. (2) Any person operating a bicycle upon a one-way roadway with two (or more marked traffic lanes may ride as near the left-hand curb or edge of the roadway as practicable. 49-718. RIDING TWO ABREAST. Persons riding bicycles upon a highway shall not ride more than two abreast except on paths or parts of highways set aside for the exclusive use of bicycles.
Persons riding two abreast shall not impede the normal and reasonable movement of traffic and, on a laned roadway, shall ride within a single lane. 49-720. STOPPING — TURN AND STOP SIGNALS. (1) A person operating a bicycle or human-powered vehicle approaching a stop sign shall slow down and, if required for safety, stop before entering the intersection. After slowing to a reasonable speed or stopping, the person shall yield the right-of-way to any vehicle in the intersection or approaching on another highway so closely as to constitute an immediate hazard during the time the person is moving across or within the intersection or junction of highways, except that a person after slowing to a reasonable speed and yielding the right-ofway if required, may cautiously

you have your teams picked then it’s on to choosing which countries to represent. This could serve as a great opportunity to teach younger members of your family about your heritage.
will work just fine! To make your uniforms official create participant tags. Cut a piece of printer paper in half and draw on the participants’ last name and have them choose their favorite number.
Feeling crafty? Head to the store and pick up T-shirts and puffy paint for DIY uniforms. Not enough time or not worth the mess? Solid tees
