Hannah Scherer

APRIL 2024, BACHELOR OF ARTS IN GRAPHIC DESIGN AND VISUAL EXPERIENCE

“The Career Center at CBU was an incredible resource for me! They helped me fine-tune my resume and LinkedIn profile during one-on-one sessions, and I also sharpened my interview skills through mock interviews. The career fairs they organized were fantastic for networking and improving my communication skills.”

UX Design & Development Intern, Salary.com

Samantha Garcia

DECEMBER 2023, BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING

“The Career Center helped me greatly! It was really helpful to receive feedback on what my resume should look like and how I can make it look more relevant to the nursing unit I applied to. The mock-interview was also a great learning tool because I was able to identify weaker spots in my interview strategies and was given feedback that I applied directly when interviewing for jobs post-graduation.”

“I didn’t think moving to another school would make that much of a difference. I went through different community colleges just to try and figure out what I wanted to do, and even when I settled on something everything else still seemed so daunting. Getting to CBU helped me see that this whole thing can be fulfilling, encouraging, and exciting, and having God in the center of it helps keep me grounded. Any other school wouldn’t have given me the same experience.” - Garrett Alura
