The company is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio and will invest $2 million in the new location. By the end of 2021, Root plans to increase its current workforce by more than 500%, creating 463 new, full-time, permanent jobs. In August of 2018, Root announced they had secured $100 million in a new round of funding and the new investors have pegged the company’s valuation at $1 billion.
