This group assignment was focused on reverse engineering. As a team project, erica and I worked together through the project by conversing the construction of the Reception Desk. Comprehending the construction, we equally divided the project. on my behalf, the floorplan, elevation, section, and notations were drafted in AutoCad. once drafted, erica created a 3D model based on the plans in AutoCad. Per finalizing a final set of drawing, we both worked together to apply finishes to the model and revise our drawings and model.

Inspired by the famous painter Jackson Pollock, the floor plan predominately represents his never ending and repetitive lines throughout his compositions. The unwinding circular shapes create playful and inviting spaces by uniting people together. Interning at CR Cabinetry in Schaumburg, IL has provided numerous opportunities to experience work in the Residential Design Industry. nancy Muller is the head designer at CR Cabinetry and for the Mleko Kitchen design. In the initial meeting, the Mlekos provided inspirational images of their styles, functionality, and necessities for their kitchen design. From there, floor plans, elevations, and renditions were produced in 20/20 design software. Prior to final revisions, on-site measure provided accurate dimensions for the cabinetry and appliances. The Mleko Kitchen was personally selected from the owner of Custom Cupboards to be acknowledged in their literature.
