Committee Execs!

P.6

Welcome To Our New Volunteer Coordinator! Hi Key Clubbers!

My name is Krista Yuen and I’m serving as your volunteer coordinator for the 2020-2021 term. I’m super thrilled to be chosen for this role and I hope to be able to provide all of you with super fun activities and opportunities as soon as it’s safe to do so!

A little bit about myself is that I love Cadets, first aid, reading, and writing. Whether it be supervising or coaching competitive first aid, many of my hours after school are spent with cadets — young, dedicated people, just like you! If you guys have any suggestions, feel free to talk to me. Let’s make this year a great one

Welcome New Marketing Heads!

P.7

Hi Key Club! My name is Sarah and I’m one of the new marketing heads for this term! I am so excited to have a bigger role in Key Club and to meet so many new friends! I am looking forward to making this year such a memorable one for all of you! Although there will be new challenges that I have to face as a marketing head, I will persevere and work hard to tackle problems head on.

I encourage all of you to attend as many DCMs and volunteer events as you can this year because each one is such a valuable experience. I remember when I first joined Key Club, I was super nervous and I didn’t really know anyone. So this year, if you ever need help with anything or you just want someone to talk to, please message me. I would love to get to know you better! I hope we have an amazing year together!

Welcome New Marketing Heads! Hey everyone! I’m Megan Moy and I will serve as one of your marketing heads for key club this year! I’m so excited to have the opportunity to make sick visuals and posters for events and fundraisers! I enjoy drawing and playing lots of sports! Piano and playing online games are some of my hobbies, so If you ever want to play Overwatch or Minecraft together, don’t be afraid to ask me! I’m stoked for the memories we will make together in key club and I hope all of your are doing the best!

“hello key clubbers,

wow! how crazy that my key club journey is finally over - 3 years of wrapping school lockers, of rowdy meetings, and freezing at 7am marathons i’ve learned so much about myself, but also the community and the world. when i was given a chance to become club president, i was lacking, in many many ways. but as we are exiting the term, i can barely recognize who i was before. all our ambitious goals and elaborate plans and efforts have come to fruition- with our membership count and volunteer hours reaching an all time high. thank you to my exec team and members for sticking with me ! i hope for key club to continue for a long time, and will cheer on the next exec team from wherever i am”

! e e L a i c i r T “Hey Keyuties, My term as your club secretary has finally come to an end. Surprisingly, I believe the best part about being secretary is noting down all the people who come to club meetings. Though it might seem mundane, it always amazes me to see how many dedicated Key Clubbers we have each week. It warms my heart to see the room filled to the brim with all of you, so thank you for spending your lunch hours with us every Wednesday! This year, we have doubled our club membership and contributed over a thousand volunteer hours together. We have accomplished things beyond my imagination, and I am so so proud of the progress we have made lead by our outstanding Immediate-Past President, Gloria Fung! I am dreading the idea of leaving Killarney, but I know that even when I leave, Killarney Key Club will be flourishing under the guidance of the new executive team. Please put your faith in them just as I have, and I hope to see you all soon again one day. ❤” In Love and Service,

“Thank you to everyone who has given me this opportunity to serve as your 2019-2020 editor. From standing in the pouring rain during the Sun Run to making cotton candy for Killarnival, I’ve created many irreplaceable memories in my five years in Key Club. I have never experienced volunteering with so many students passionate about service and I am glad that I was able to capture all our memories together. It was amazing to see the growth of our club and the different milestones we reach every year. I’m excited to see what the future executive team holds! Key Club will always hold a special place in my heart!”
