About the Chicagoland Chapter, ASTD (CCASTD) CHAPTER OVERVIEW • CCASTD is one of 130+ ASTD chapters in the United States. • CCASTD is one of the largest chapters with nearly 700 members. • CCASTD is the oldest chapter (even older than ASTD National!) and celebrated its 65th anniversary at the Chicago Trump International Hotel & Tower in September, 2008. • CCASTD dinner events are well-attended, with the January 2012 meeting exceeding 105 attendees.
