As we look forward to the new year with optimism, we believe that 2021 can bring a new sense of purpose, success, and rejuvenation for all. We are proud to offer a wide variety of course offerings both in person and online to our community. To ensure your safety, we have opted to offer our seat-based Spring classes towards the end of March through mid-May. We have over 300 online course offerings through www.ed2go.com that can begin anytime in the comfort of your own home. We are grateful for your commitment to CCBC, and we look forward to seeing you back on our campus. We will continue to implement the following safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for you, our loyal students, staff, and instructors. • All students and instructors must utilize a mask or face covering upon entry and while in the building (this should be provided by the individual). We are offering this same class at two different times.
Zoom is an online meeting application that has taken the world by storm during the COVID pandemic and is sure to be with us long after the virus is gone. Zoom can be used to chat with friends and family far away as well as holding business meetings. In this online course, you will learn how to: attend a Zoom event, set up a meeting, send invitations, use chat, make meetings secure, use Breakout Rooms, share items from other programs in a Zoom meeting, and live stream a meeting to YouTube or Facebook. Nursing or Health Professional Admission Assessment Prep Course (Synchronized Online)
This non-credit course prepares eligible students for one of several Nursing or Health Professional Pre-Admission Exams: (HESI) - Health Education Systems Incorporated Admission Assessment, (TEAS) - Test of Essential Academic Skills, (NLN) - National League for Nursing Pre-Admission Exam, (NET) - Nursing Entrance Test, (PSB) - Psychological Services Bureau Health Occupations Aptitude Exam or (HOBET) - Health Occupation Basic Entrance Test. These standardized tests assess basic academic skills needed to succeed in a select health occupation program and are used as one tool of acceptance into most Nursing or Health Professional programs.
