On March 18th, Richard, me and his old-time friend David Ross, from Buffalo Soldiers and his girlfriend Ronnisue decided to take a trip to the beach, as David, rode his bike we drove. It was nice drive. Seeing all the canals full and lakes, and everything so green. As we got up in the mountains, it was breath taking the wildflowers were blooming and my favorite flower the California poppy was full bloom and glory. We made a stop at the James Dean memorial spot which I have never been there before it was really cool to see and read about it. As we took a break some other bikers also had same idea to take a break so we talked to them. They were a club of veterans riding together, really nice people. As we said our goodbye’s and left, they were waiting for there other friends to meet up. We went are way and headed to the coast.

As we arrived at the beach it was packed, but it was nice the air smelled clear little cold, so we didn’t go down to the water. We set at the restaurant for a while and took in the view, went walking around, went to a coffee shop set for a while then went to a candy shop because you can’t leave without with some sweets. By then it was getting late so we called it a day and it was time to go home so we wouldn’t be driving in the dark or when it got to much colder. It was a really nice day to get away and enjoy with friends.
