About The Church New Testament Church of God, Derby is a family orientated chuch based in the Alvaston area of Derby. We are a multi-cultural church and believe that all people despite of race, age and gender are a special child of God. We nurture, teach and disciple every member, to become and sustain a Christ-like lifestyle through prayer and biblical teaching. We encourage and equip every member to discover and practice their spiritual gifts and fulďŹ l their purpose and calling so as so obtain a deeper spiritual experience.

Classic As a multi-generational church, our brand looks to incorporate a modern feel without ever becoming too trendy.
Disciplined Like a good soldier, the brand is orderly and tidy. By implementing the use of grids, white space and an overall sense of order, the brand will stay relevant for years to come.
Excellence Colossians 3:23 says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart ... “ At NTCG Derby, quality is job #1. Everything that leaves the creative department should be eligible to win a design award for excellence.

THE LOGO REPRESENTS THE CHURCH, ITS PEOPLE AND ITS VALUES. IT IS TO DERBY, WHAT THE BAT SYMBOL IS TO GOTHAM CITY.

Logo Guidelines The logomark works as a stand alone graphical element, however, in most situations the logomark and the wordmark should be used together (lockup). The wordmark should always be used in combination with the logomark. Many various color combinations (within the brand color palette) can be used, dependant on the background and context. Textures of any kind should never be used on the logo. It should be kept simple and clean at all times. Never crowd or layer images and/or text on top of the logo. Please be conscious to not crowd the logo leave plenty of breathing space for him!

Typography Guidelines For all important videos, prints and publications, Sansation Bold & Regular should be used. Sansation Bold is used in headline or title situations, and Aller Regular is used in secondary titles and/or body copy. Lora Regular and Bold may be used as supporting typefaces, but rather sparily. It is best used utilized when attempting to convey an ‘old-time vibe or for legibility reasons (ie quotes or long passages of Scripture) There are, however, certain times, such as minor yers, posters and other collateral that various typefaces may be used if approved by the Creative team.

THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATIONS ARE MORE GUIDELINES THAN RULES – HERE TO HELP YOU ON YOUR DESIGN JOURNEY
Imagery Recommendations • Images should be rooted in authenticity. We are who we are and should not look like an advertisement. • Always use high quality images. Don’t use 72 DPI images for print or stretched images because it’s “all we have.” Find an alternative. Remember excellence first! • Use images that are not over or under processed in photoshop. • Background textures can and should be used. Generally, these should be strong images (i.e. wood, leather, concrete). Please be sure type is legible on them.
