COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT Aspire to Make A Difference
What a fantastic year the JJPBC teens had this year We participated in many smaller community service activities, like donating Halloween costumes and socks and shopping for and delivering school supplies However, we had a few significant ways we wanted to BUILD up our community

In November, we got up early to help with food distribution during the Thanksgiving holiday We helped set up stations packed bags passed out helpful information, and loaded cars with fruits, vegetables, turkeys, and other items to make the holiday brighter for some local families
In December we wrapped holiday gifts for the Children's Home Society during our chapter's holiday party Knowing our donations and efforts in wrapping their gifts felt like we were ASPIRING to make a difference
In January, we were back at it We met at the park and packaged 200 care bags of hand sanitizer, lotions, and soap We also made lunches and passed them out at a local church.
