CCI’s Career Advancement Program (CAP) offers international university students, recent graduates and young professionals the opportunity to become an Intern or Trainee in a U.S. business. These structured and guided work-based learning programs must be in the intern or trainee’s specific academic or occupational field. CCI is designated to offer the program in the following categories: Hospitality and Tourism: Hotel Management
Management, Business, Commerce and Finance:
Food & Beverage Management
Bank Management
Tour Operators
Software Companies
Culinary Arts (Chef/Kitchen Management)
Financial Planning
Amusement Park Guest Services Management
Accounting Firms Non-profit Organizations
Eligibility Requirements University Status: Intern: Currently enrolled or graduated within past year Trainee: Graduated at least a year ago, or 5 years work
experience
Required Work Experience: Intern: None Trainee: If university graduate, at
a graduate, 5 years
least one year; if not
Maximum Program Length: Intern: 12 months Trainee: 18 months (12 months for Hospitality/Tourism)
Program includes: • J-1 visa sponsorship
• Medical insurance • Application processing •W eb/phone interview with CCI and/or host organization • Orientation by CCI
Program does not include:
•C ontinuous CCI support while in the U.S.
•A ccommodation expenses
•S ite visit to host organization, if required
• I nternational airfare
• I dentification of housing leads (full program only)

J-1 Work and Travel Program Program Description
CCI’s Work and Travel Program offers university students an exciting way to spend their summer break in the United States. Participants earn money to cover their living expenses, while working for up to 4 months. Participants can remain in the U.S. for an additional 30-day travel period. Most participants work in the hospitality industry and positions range from bartender to bookkeeper, ride operator to sales person, housekeeper to desk attendant. Eligibility Requirements
The Work and Travel Program is for full-time university students over the age of 18. Participants must have good English skills and have a verified job placement before coming to the United States. Program dates vary depending on university break dates. Work and Travel Greenheart Club
This optional activity allows Work and Travel participants to further their cultural exchange experience and learn more about the business that they work for and the community they live in. Participants can become members of our Greenheart Club and submit an entry to win a FREE Work and Travel program for the following year! Program includes: • J-1 visa sponsorship
• Medical insurance • Orientation by CCI •C ontinuous support from CCI while in the U.S.
