As the booming oversea demand and rising price of vitamin C from the end of 2007 to 2008, it is worth knowing that sorbitol import increased sharply in 2008 and the volume was 18,169 tonnes, six times more than that of 2007, From 2008 to 2010, affected by global financial crisis and the market saturation of vitamin C, sorbitol import has decreased since 2009.
