Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Materials
The Center for Disaster Preparedness produces IEC materials help communities, families, and individuals understand community-based disaster risk reduction and management. This allows them to be more imaginative and and appreciative of the steps in CBDRRM such as risk assessment, contingency planning, DRRM planning, and simulation drills, and encourages them to think outside the box or take into account their communities' socio-economic, cultural, and political context.
