Q. Tell everyone who you are and what you do?

A. I go as “Fly Ty” born out of

Flatbush, Brooklyn ....I am a fashion designer, celebrity stylist, brand ambassador, NYC comedy club promoter, wellknown horror cosplayer in the horror community and also have been a co-host on iHeart Radio’s morning podcast “The DayOff

Show”.

Q. How did you get the name “Fly

Ty” and the meaning behind it?

A. I got the name in my high school years from always coming to school in expensive clothes that many people back in high school could not even afford such as minks and gator shoes, etc...and there is no specific meaning to it, it just speaks for itself lol.

Q. What motivated you to be a fashion designer?

A. What motivated me to be a fashion designer was the ability to stand out amongst the rest and be the spotlight always of the crowd....so I would buy what everyone else would wear but customize it in my own way and color coordinate my fits with it and people would often become inspired.

Q. Who or which things are the inspiration while creating any design?

A. No one in particular was my inspiration while creating designs, I just tapped into old school fashion from my pops educating me on it from his era in the 60s as the best dressed guy back then his friends as well as himself would often tell me.

Q. How do you stay updated with the trends in the fashion industry?

A. I stay updated with the trends in the fashion industry from social media, watching music videos and going to fashion shows in the areas within NYC such as the

Soho which is one of the most fashionable places out here I would recommend tourists whose into style and fashion.

Q. Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

A. In the next five years I see myself as a huge successful fashion influencer, a person who many look up to for my diverse sense of style and of a person who taught many of the new generation the importance of knowing your fashion history since it always repeats itself generation after generation.

Q. How would you define your personal style?

A. I would define my personal style as very unique, slightly trendy, vintage, classy, and spontaneous on any given day.

Q. Are you working on any events or new projects?

A. At the moment no new projects in the works but I am opened to anyone collabing with me whose likeminded with my dedication, ambition and whose driven to set they own trends like myself so we can be a power team to the top of the ladder.
