Victory for North East Over Bohemia Manor

NORTH EAST - North East Senior Byronique Robinson was clutch at the plate with runners on base on Wednesday, driving in five on three hits to lead North East Varsity past the Bohemia Manor Eagles 13-1. Robinson drove in runs on a home run in the first, a double in the second, and a single in the third on the Lady Indians Senior Night celebrating Robinson and her fellow Seniors. The Lady Eagles of Bohemia Manor got things moving in the first inning, when Addie Sample singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
North East scored five runs in the third inning. The offensive firepower by North East was led by Kalila Pace, Alesia Doctor, Robinson, and Reagan Hassell, who each had RBIs in the inning. Senior Alesia Doctor earned the victory in the pitcher's circle for North East. Doctor allowed only three hits and one run over five innings, striking out seven and walking zero. Bohemia Manor Senior Mary Grace Valle was in the pitcher's circle for the Lady Eagles. The Nyack College commit lasted two and two-thirds innings, allowing 12 hits and 13 runs while walking one. Senior Emily Heath threw one and onethird innings in relief. North East bats hit two home runs on the day with Robinson putting one out in the first inning followed by Hassell having a homer in the third inning. The Indians collected a total of 12 hits on the day. Megan Harris, Robinson, and Pace each managed multiple hits for North East. Seniors Robinson and Harris each had three hits to lead the Senior Night celebration. North East didn't commit a single error in the field.
