PERRYVILLE - The Perryville Panthers Softball

Team put up six runs in the fifth on its way to an 11-1 victory over the North Harford Hawks on Monday as the Panthers celebrated Senior Night. The offensive onslaught came from an error on a ball put in play by Brook Strong and Jocelyn Rebman, a walk by Kylee Seidle, a single by Riley Jackson, and a double by Kayla Brustman.

Perryville opened up scoring in the first inning, when Senior Kayla Brustman singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

The Panthers put up six runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught by the Lady Panthers was led by Seidle, Strong, J. Rebman, Jackson, and Brustman, who all drove in runs in the inning.

Brustman started in the circle for Perryville. The pitcher lasted five innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out four and walking one.

Ashlie McMillan took the loss for North Harford. McMillan lasted four and twothirds innings, allowing ten hits and 11 runs while striking out two.

Perryville tallied 11 hits in the game. Sarah Cantrell, Jocelyn Rebman, Brustman, and Jackson all managed multiple hits for Perryville. Cantrell went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Panthers in hits.

The night was also a time for celebrating the Seniors who will be leaving the team this year. Perryville had four seniors on the roster with Brook Strong, Briana Rebman, Riley Jackson and Kayla Brustman. Team Manager Katie Ruark will also be graduating this year. Seniors were introduced before the game and presented gifts from the team.
