Microchip your pet at CBHS!
Microchip Clinics No appointment necessary
SPRING: March 29th through April 1st SUMMER: June 7th through June 10th Microchip cost is $15 per pet. On-line registration cost is $12. We want animals to find their way home and avoid becoming homeless! Microchips offer permanent identification for pets and increase the likelihood that they are returned home if lost. The microchip is the size of a grain of rice and is injected just under the skin between the shoulder blades. The microchip contains an identification number unique to the pet. If your pet becomes lost, a veterinarian or animal shelter uses a scanner to detect the microchip. This ID number is linked to your contact information in a data bank.
Cedar Bend Humane Society
microchipped 1,692 pets in 2015.
