Mindfulness Moment: "The Gratitude Tree"
In a recent mindfulness activity, students explored the concept of gratitude and its importance in their lives. They were encouraged to reflect on the things they are thankful for, which led to the creation of a "Gratitude Tree." Each student drew a tree, and on the leaves, they wrote down the things they cherish most in their lives. This activity not only helped students appreciate the positives in their lives but also fostered a sense of mindfulness and thankfulness.

“I am most grateful for my family because they help me in everything. They help me do my homework. They heal me when I get hurt. They buy me the things that I want and they always solve my problems. They take me to other countries. They take me to nice restaurants. They take me to the movies. They pick me up from school ”
ART SPOTLIGHT: VINCENT VAN GOGH’S "STARRY NIGHT"
Vincent van Gogh was a Dutch painter known for his expressive use of color and brushstrokes. His unique style helps us see the world in new and imaginative ways. Starry Night was painted in 1889 when van Gogh was in a small town in France. He painted what he saw from his window at night, but instead of copying what he saw exactly, he added swirling stars, glowing colors, and sweeping skies to show how the night felt to him. The painting reminds us that even the night sky can be full of life and beauty! The bright stars and swirling patterns look like something from a dream. The bold colors and movement make the painting feel alive, just like our imaginations.
STROKES GALLERY
Inspired by van Gogh's unique vision and expressive style, we invited our learners to create their own interpretations of a magical night sky. With paintbrushes in hand and imaginations set free, our young artists crafted their versions of Starry Night, bringing to life swirling stars, vibrant colors, and dreamy skies that reflect their creative spirits. We're excited to showcase some of these beautiful creations in this issue.

Title: Rainbow Magic
Cherry the Cake fairy
Author: Daisy Meadows
Review: My favourite book is Cherry the Cake Fairy because it’s really funny In the story there is a birthday party going on of Kristy and suddenly a goblin ruined the cake by stepping on it The girls saw the ruined cake and started looking around to find out who stepped on the cake. They caught him and forced him to bake another cake I like this book because it has mystery and fantasy and it also teaches a lesson that if you have done something wrong, you have to pay the price
