Higher Education A dministration Specialization T he Depa r t ment of E ducat iona l Administration and Human Resource Development offers a master’s and doctorate degree with a specialization in higher education administration. Graduates are qualified to serve in mid-level management positions in higher education administration,
teaching and research. The higher education administration faculty are nationally and internationally known. Their areas of expertise include total quality management, student af fairs, facult y development, governance and qualitative research.
For students desiring to work in student development careers, the department also offers a certificate in College Teaching and a master’s degree with a specialization in student affairs administration.

Students must complete a minimum of 73 credit hours in addition to the master’s degree for the Ph.D. program.
