The GOVGREEN Conference and Exposition provides an independent forum where government professionals charged with greening the government can learn, network and find tools, technologies and solutions. Located in Washington, DC to provide easy-access for the widest range of government professionals, the GOVGREEN Conference and Exposition is nonpartisan, representing no one point of view, interest group or agency. Why GOVGREEN? Federal agencies are mandated by Executive Order to meet a broad range of aggressive targets to make all operations more green and sustainable. These mandates affect every part of agency operations and involve program managers agency-wide. It is the mission of GOVGREEN and its parent organization, the Center for Environmental Innovation and Leadership, to provide a one-stop information resource for those program managers through our website (CEILeadership.org) and the GOVGREEN Conference and Exposition. The government green marketplace is unparalleled. The federal government owns 500,000 buildings, 600,000 vehicles and buys $500 billion of goods and services annually. The new mandates touch every aspect of those buildings and vehicles, and require that purchased goods be green (or more green). In addition, $120 billion of recovery funds are targeted specifically to green and sustainable programs. At the same time there are over 460,000 businesses registered to do business with the federal government—and that number represents only companies on GSA schedules. Over 2.7 million civilians and military personnel are employed by the federal government and more than 340,000 are located in the Washington, DC area. PROGRAM Seminars will be presented by government, industry and academic experts experienced in green and sustainable programs. Seminar topics will be vetted by an Advisory Council of government professionals and will address the specific mandates outlined in EO 13514 organized in the following program tracts:: •

PRODUCTS GOVGREEN Conference and Exposition is the key venue to showcase green products, services and solutions to a specialized audience ready to buy. The exhibit floor features pavillions devoted to the program areas to facilitate interaction. Exhibitors will be invited to present WorkGroup sessions on the show floor to further educate attendees on products and services. Educational sessions will be scheduled to allow attendees time on the show floor. In addition, show floor activity will include: •

I hereby reserve our company’s sponsorship of the 2010 GOVGREEN Conference and Exposition. I understand that my company must be an exhibitor at the event in order to participate in the sponsorship program. Sponsorship of 2010 GOVGREEN Conference and Exposition cannot be canceled. Sponsorship benefits cannot be substituted. Terms of Payment: A 50% deposit is due with this signed contract. Sponsorships will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Final payment is due on or before [ DATE]. Failure to make the final payment will constitute a loss of sponsorship and does not release financial liability. All deposits are non-refundable. Exhibitor Workshop

Workshops will be 20 minute in duration with a total of 10 slots available. Workshops will be scheduled during show hours but not during educational sessions. Sponsor must submit outline of workshop content at least 30 days in advance of show. Show management reserves the right to reject inappropriate presentations or content. AV will be setup for all workshops and sponsor responsible for providing correctly formatted materials. Sponsor responsible for all handouts and/or course material. Workshops will be scheduled at the discretion of show management and slots assigned based on date sponsorship contract is signed and deposit payment received. Workshop is located on the show floor in designated and signed area.

Extreme Green Pavilion

Pavilion will be located on the show floor in designated and signed area. New products will be submitted by exhibitors for consideration by a panel of experts. Products will be displayed on 6-ft draped tables with counter sign. Presentation area will be unmanned but attendees will be required to swipe badge before entering. Sponsor logo or company name (depending on sponsorship level) will be displayed on all signage promoting the Extreme Green Pavilion and on all pre and post show promotions mentioning the Pavilion.
