The First Annual Amber Autumn Invitational Auction Hello Alpaca Enthusiasts! Welcome to the first annual Amber Autumn Invitational Auction. On behalf of Amber Autumn Alpacas and all of our consignors, my wife Shirley and I would like to extend an invitation to everyone to come and join us in sunny Arizona for some fun, relaxation, education, and the opportunity to view and bid on some beautiful alpacas. Hopefully, you may get to take some alpacas home with you that you feel will help you enhance and move your breeding programs forward. Shirley and I have been involved in the alpaca industry for the past 16 years. Our 107 acre ranch is located near Culver, Oregon, approximately an easy two hour drive form Portland. If you have an opportunity to visit our ranch, you will have the pleasure of viewing over 500 head of huacaya alpacas grazing in our lush, irrigated pastures. They are an accumulation of the most proven quality genetics gathered across the U.S.A. and Canada. Our objective has always been to produce alpacas with high fleece weights with low micron in solid color. The majority of our herd consists of Accoyo/Peruvian bloodlines. We believe in maintaining strong hybrid vigor while at the same time ensuring that we are breeding for excellent conformation and type. As well, we want to maintain the following critically important reproductive traits; an abundance of milk, easy to rebreed, quiet gentle personality. We refuse to breed genetic traits into our herd that will compromise these goals. All of our bred females are sold confirmed pregnant by ultrasound and with live birth guarantees. On package deals we offer discounts and reasonable finance terms, and if possible, we will transport your new alpacas to your farm. We are very excited about the alpacas we have gathered for this event. Thank you so much to our consignors that have
dug very deep into their breeding programs to offer their best for your viewing and bidding pleasure. For our group, we went through our herd and compiled a short list of what we felt were some of our very best . We then had two very experienced alpaca breeders, one of them an AOBA certified fleece judge, view and judge all of the alpacas on our short list and give us their honest opinion on each lot. We then used that information to complete our group of auction entries. The majority of them are either our 2012-2013 show alpacas or ones we had already selected for the 2014 show season. We are extremely proud to offer them for your bidding pleasure. We love the alpaca business and all of the great people we have had the good fortune to meet involved within it. We look forward to seeing old friends and meeting and making new friends at this our first annual event. Please come and join us. We promise you will not be disappointed! We invite you to explore our website or better yet when you have a chance, please come and visit us at our ranch in Culver, Oregon.

Service Sire: Accoyo America Nautilus Micro: 074103625 Amber Autumn Abegail is comparable to a very nice wine. Aged to perfection pedigree that combines the best of the best. Caligula genetics crossed with Legacy genetics. How does it get any sweeter? She is a result of Snowmass Perfection (deceased) bred to a Ulysses’ daughter (Ulysses’ Accoyo Annabelle). Perfection’s histogram at 11 years of age reads: 22.3, 4.4, 19.9, 4.5%>30. Her dam Annabelle has a histogram at 5 years of age that reads: 21.3, 4.2, 19.6, 2.6%>30. Abegail has beautiful fineness, above average brightness, soft silky hand, and consistency of character. Beautiful head and lovely conformation. How could this not work out when you combine stud males like Ulysses, El Niño, Caligula, Peruvian Don Julio, Snowmass Perfection and 4Peruvian Legacy? Then bring into the mix some stunning prepotent females like Snowmass Wedding Pacabells, PPPeruvian Sunipani, and PPPeruvian Ayaviri. To further compliment this beautiful female, we have exposed her to Accoyo America Nautilus. We feel this will add more density, high frequency crimped fleece, and even more lingering fineness. Abegail sells with full farm warranty and 72 hour live birth guarantee. Serious breeders need to pay attention on this lot! 2013 Histogram: AFD: 18.0, SD: 4.2, CV: 23.5, 1.2% >30.

Amber Autumn Ally ARI: 32201697 Gender: Female Status: Maiden Date of Birth: 04/24/2013 Color: Light Fawn Sire: Accoyo America Jason Dam: Amber Autumn’s Aleesha Micro: 900026000060193 Ally is very robust for her age. As you can see from her photo, she is as pretty as her fleece. It displays a medium frequency crimp style with very nice density and brightness, good fineness, soft hand, exceptional staple length, and character that extends well into her extremities. Her fawn grandsire Laredo retained a 21.3 micron fleece in 2009 at 10 years of age. Her bay black dam Aleesha at 6 years of age in 2013 retains a 20.7 AFD, 5%>30 fleece. Her pedigree is a genetic fusion on the dam side that includes Peruvian Alpimayo, MMR Laredo, and then pulls in Peruvian Bonanza. Bonanza (deceased) was an extremely dense macho that we purchased from Magical Farms when we first entered the alpaca business. He maintained a 22 – 23 micron fleece until he passed. It displayed high frequency, brightness and exceptional crimp character that carried down to his toes. Bonanza had a tremendous impact on our breeding program and produced numerous champions. This cross with Jason has created a beautiful result with Ally and brings in some outstanding genetics with Camilio (twice), Auzengate, and the incredible dams Pucara, Pussywillow, and Camilio’s Phoenicia. Ally has a bright future with some lucky breeder, sells with full farm warranty, and breeding to any Amber Autumn herdsire. But first she will win you some ribbons!

She displays a very silky soft bright high frequency crimped fleece with very nice density, outstanding fineness, and very good staple length. Well grown for her age, Loretta has good substance of bone and is well balanced on a solid frame. This female is a genetic fusion of El Niño, PPeruvian Vengador, and 4Peruvian Legacy on the top side and then brings in Accoyo Elite, PPeruvian Pluro, and 4Peruvian Legacy on the bottom side. It doesn’t get much better than this. Loretta will be an outstanding production female for some lucky buyer. Accoyo America Mae West ARI: 32782769 Gender: Female Status: Maiden Date of Birth: 01/31/2013 Color: White Sire: Accoyo America Road Warrior, ARI #30955103 Dam: Pacific Crest Accoyo Mia, ARI# 829407 Micro: 151946112A Experienced breeders know that fleece density and consistency are harder to add to a herd than fineness alone. Mae West represents an outstanding genetic opportunity to do both. She is a robust young female sired by our top stud, Accoyo America Road Warrior, out of a particularly special dam, Pacific Crest Accoyo Mia. Mia, a Caligula daughter, is currently the number one female in the ARI EPD database with regard to her propensity for increasing fleece weight in her offspring. And she does it while also reducing spin fineness to a degree that, amongst the very top animals in the fleece weight category, is only exceeded by two of her paternal brothers. Consistency and density – these are the hallmarks of Caligula in a pedigree. Mae West shows the strong attributes of both sire and dam with dense, bright white fleece of excellent staple length carried on a strong, correct frame. She has a lovely head and real presence as well. Mae West is well grown for her age and will be ready to breed soon. She comes with a complementary breeding to any one of our sires -- Accoyo America Shogun and Accoyo America Kashmir are among your compelling choices. Histogram results: 18.9/3.9/20.6/1.0

Red Granite’s Clementine ARI: 32519228 Gender: Female Status: Maiden Date of Birth: 09/06/2012 Color: Bay Black Sire: Kirwin Dam: Red Granite’s Caya Micro: 078036380 Clementine is a beautiful bay black yearling female out of our exceptional award winning true black dam, Red Granite’s Caya. Caya contributes genetics from Dom Lucilio, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, and PPPeruvian Augusto. Her dam, USA Peruvian Chassidy, has given us several other outstanding cria. Clementine’s sire, our recently acquired KIRWIN, is a super star in his own rights when it comes to brown male alpacas. With 13 color or reserve color championships under his belt, KIRWIN brings his wonderful phenotype, dense well-defined fleece into this exceptional pairing. KIRWIN has produced many champions and ribbon winners. Clementine has a medium to high frequency, medium amplitude crimp style. Her fleece is extremely bright and has a wonderfully soft handle. Clementine’s conformation is superior. Clementine is a stunning black female alpaca. She will continue to win ribbons for her new owners as she finishes out her show career. But best of all she will be an invaluable addition to a color breeding program. Clementine comes with a breeding to any of the Red Granite Ranch Herdsires. Please ask us for our recommendation.

Take Jericho, for example. Not only is he a multiple champion, but his offspring also have won well over 120 championships and numerous special awards such as both Light and Dark Herdsire of the Year, Color Championships, Reserve Color Championships, Judges’ Choice, Breeder’s Choice, Best Crimp, Best Brightness and many more. Those genetics are serving Caramel Kiss well, as she carries an impressive silky fleece featuring very fine, beautiful, consistent high-frequency crimp, along with brightness and density. And a long staple, too. By very fine, we mean 14.7 micron. The stats speak for themselves, but they don’t speak to the brightness and density that are part of this girl’s fleece. Be sure to check it out. Caramel Kiss comes with a breeding to any eligible Snow Diamond herdsire. Her dam is a Christopher B daughter (AFD 16.8 at six years) and Hemingway granddaughter. White Denim is the full sister of Levi’s 501 of Hummingherd, who has never been beaten in a fleece show. 501 was Supreme Fleece Champion at the 2012 IAO, Color Champion and Judges Choice at GWAS 2012 Fleece Show, First at AOBA, as well as numerous other halter and fleece winnings. White Denim has a nice show record of her own, and her skin biopsy showed a follicular density of 52.4 (Australian). Her first cria, at side, is a daughter of Eastwind’s Snowstorm, a Snowmass Messiah son and Snowmaster grandson. Snowstorm’s dam, NWA,LTD Juliana, is one of the greatest female alpacas ever to grace this planet, and she held her AFD under 18 for 14 years! Snowstorm’s crias average 13 microns on their first fleece, and it appears that Christa will be no exception. Take a look at the density and crimp on this little girl, and you’ll see what excellence White Denim can bring to your herd. White Denim is bred back to Hummingherd’s Firenze, a multichampion and AOBA Fleece Show winner who has an AFD of 17.9 on his eighth fleece! Amber Autumn Chocolate Chip ARI: 32353860 Gender: Male Status: Unproven Date of Birth: 05/17/2013 Color: Dark Brown Sire: Accoyo America Jason Dam: Amber Chalese Micro: 900026000060183 Wow! We felt that breeding Amber Chalese to Jason may produce color and a very nice result and we were rewarded in spades. This young macho has limbs like tree trunks, outstanding phenotype, gorgeous head, and a fleece that displays outstanding brightness, medium frequency crimped fleece with excellent character and fineness, and silky soft hand. If you are going to have a future herd sire he may as well look the part! No secret there. PCA Santorini stamped all of his progeny with a very nice head, strong frames, exceptional staple length and density. Crossing this pedigree with Accoyo America Jason was a “no brainer.” His dam Chalese at 7 years of age in 2013 maintains a histogram of 23.7, 4.8, 20.1, 6.2%>30. As you can see, Grand dam Chantilly is an outstanding producer, her daughter, Lot #59, “Contiki,” is in this auction as well. Guess who the sire is? Yep, it is Jason! The predictability with which Jason stamps his progeny is outstanding, and the fleece character and density he produces exceeded our wildest expectations. The bloodlines in this young macho are outstanding and proven. Camilio, Hemingway, Victor, Caligula, Auzengate, and outstanding dams the like of Chachani, Pucara, Pussywillow, Phonecia, and an outstanding dam that most U.S. breeders know very little about, “Peruvian Champagne.” “Prepotent” is an understatement. “Chocolate Chip” needs to hit the show ring, win several blue ribbons, some color championships, and then start his breeding career. He sells with full farm warranty. Congratulations Accoyo America Endurance, to the successful bidder Grandsire on “Chocolate Chip!”

Whenever we want to square up our phenotype and add substance of bone, along with very good presence and lingering fineness, we use the “Turk.” This stunning dark brown macho never lets us down. Nadeer displays a very bright, high frequency crimp style with nice architecture and density, along with very decent fineness. We do not expect that her micron to change much as she ages. Her dark brown dam “Natalie Cole” is maintaining an AFD of 23.5 at 4 years of age, and Turk’s histogram at 7 years of age in 2007 was: AFD: 22.7, SD: 4.2, CV: 18.5, %>30: 5.0. He still displays good character with a high frequency from skin to tip. Nadeer’s pedigree includes Peruvian Ivano, PPPeruvian Cahuide, NGG Julietta, and Snowmass Peruvian Casanova. Color is well established in this girl. We have exposed Nadeer to EL Duro’s Principio which we feel will produce color and outstanding density and fineness. Principio’s histogram at 8 years of age reads: AFD: 19.5, SD: 3.6, CV: 18.3, %>30: 1.5. Very good substance of bone, nicely balanced on a square frame, a fleece that displays very good density, brightness, fineness and soft hand. This genetic fusion combines all of the best qualities of Peruvian Ivano, PPeruvian Camilio, and PPPeruvian Auzengate, with incredible production females Pussywillow, PPPeruvian Pucara, 5Peruvian Destiny, and Pacific Crest Camilio’s Phoenicia. Cute as a button, orange eyelashes, soft fuzzy ears, medium frequency bright crimped fleece with deep amplitude, very nice bundling, and soft silky handle. Little Doll is definitely destined for the show ring. The genetics in this maiden are deep and varied and include some of the most recognized proven herdsires in the alpaca industry. Caligula, Camilio, Guellermo, Bueno, Legacy, Oro, and 4Peruvian Black Magic, just to name a few. Her grandsires Kryptonite and El Niño’s Golden Legend are no slouches either! We are reluctant to part with “Little Doll” as she is a result of an outside breeding to Jamahl, but we are comforted by the fact that Scott Miller assures us that he will redo the breeding if we give him 10 breedings in return. Little Doll sells with full farm warranty and breeding when of age to any Amber Autumn Herdsire. “Buy her, head to the show ring, gather up the ribbons, then let her produce champions for your farm!”

She displays an extremely dense, high frequency crimped, fine bright fleece, with coverage right to her toes. A mirror image of her sire RFA Turk, her density is a result of the genetic fusion of Peruvian Ivano, Peruvian Bonanza, Peruvian Snowtex and a prepotent female in the mix named Peruvian Brise. It all came together with Felicia, well enough that she became Supreme Champion female at the Alpaca Canada Futurity in 2009. In 2013, at 5 years of age her histogram reads: AFD: 23.3, SD: 3.9, CV: 16.7, %>30: 5.3. Felicia produced a beautiful silver grey male in 2011 that is just starting his breeding career at our ranch. In 2012 she gave us a dark brown male that is a potential herd sire and placed well in our 2013 show string and will be in the 2014 show string as well. Unfortunately, we lost her 2013 cria through no fault of her own. We have rebred Felicia to our medium fawn macho, AML EL Duro’s Principio. This handsome boy is incredibly dense and fine as evidenced by his 2013 histogram at 8 years of age: AFD: 19.5, SD: 3.6, CV: 18.3, %>30: 1.5. Strong substance of bone, well balanced, square frame, pretty head, she displays a very dense, bright, high frequency crimped fleece with very nice character throughout, and very silky hand. This little girl was a cornerstone in our 2013 show string and part of the several Get of Sire and Breeders Best Three blue ribbon awards garnered by Nitro progeny. We are very reluctant to part with any Nitro daughters as we have sold Nitro up into Canada and no longer have access to those genetics. Nitro had a histogram at 4 years of age in 2011 that reads: 19.6, 3.6, 18.2, 0.6%>30. Her pedigree is a bit different as we crossed our top Accoyo America genetics with a very nice Eclipse Alyst daughter. Candelina in 2013 at age 4 has a histogram that reads: 19.7, 3.8, 19.4, 1.4%>30. These crosses have worked very well as proven by Cookie’s ½ sister “Kasimira” who we sold in the Futurity in 2013. Cookie placed second to Kasimira at Alpacapalooza and the SWRAS shows in which Kasimira went on to win 2 color championships and a Judges Choice in her short juvenile show career. We have exposed Cookie to PCA Hemingway-Accoyo Nautilus and feel this breeding will increase her density even more and keep the lingering fineness. Grace is full Peruvian, 5/8 Accoyo, and has a robust, well balanced frame covered in fine, dense, bright fleece with high frequency crimp style. P. Grace has proven to be an easy keeper like her dam who has no issues with pregnancy or deliveries and good milk supply for her crias. Her sire is our multiple champion, Sunny Mesa’s Tuscan Gold, who has proven himself to be an extremely prepotent herdsire, passing on his many fine qualities in fleece and frame. He still boasts a 19.0 micron fleece at 6 years old and 20.0 at 8 years old. Grace will be an excellent foundation female who brings a little bling along with her from the show ring. This handsome young macho has herd-sire written all over him and he already thinks that he is. A rising star on our 2013 show string, cute as a button, and an extraordinary fleece, he placed in every show entered. Tough to win a color championship as a juvenile, but in 6 shows entered he did win 3 blue, 1 red, placed 4th, then placed 6th at the Futurity. We expect continued success for him in 2014. Taylor Made was part of the trio that helped Eclipse Alyst win 4 “Get of Sire Dark” blue ribbons in 2013. He has a very bright, high frequency crimped fleece with deep amplitude and soft hand, and very nice fineness. His dark brown sire Eclipse Alyst at 9 years of age in 2011 had a histogram that reads: 23.6, 5.0, 21.4, 9.5%>30. His dam “Amber Tehya” is sired by Peruvian Zephrus and without doubt, a female that we consider as one of our top producers. Dark Rose Grey, At 4 years of age in 2012 her histogram reads: AFD: 22.6, SD: 3.9, CV: 17.3, %>: 3.3. As you have probably figured out by now, Rozwell was the third part of the puzzle in our 2013 ABR Fall Festival 1st Place “Get of Sire Dark” last November. Our Eclipse progeny garnered 3 more “Get of Sire Dark” awards in 2013. Like Taylor Made and Tyga, he is quite a handsome macho. Rozwell is definitely herd sire potential. He displays a medium frequency crimped fleece with nice amplitude and exceptional brightness, very good density, staple length, exceptional fineness, and is nicely balanced on strong substance of bone and square frame. His dark brown dam “Snowmass Ruby’s Rosalee” had a histogram in 2011 at 3 years of age of: 19.8, 4.1, 20.7, 2.1%>30. His dark brown sire Eclipse Alyst at 4 years of age had a histogram that reads: 21.4, 4.6, 21.5, 4.2%>30. Her fleece is stunning! Does anyone remember Amber Autumn Halei Ho, the maiden female that we sold in the MAPACA auction in 2013? Incredibly bright medium frequency crimped fleece with deep amplitude, silky soft hand, staple organization, exceptional fineness, and very nice density. That is pretty standard for Ulysses progeny. Then add in a dense, fine female like Carey, and you have a recipe for success. It does not hurt to have Peruvian Hemingway, Accoyo Titan, Mr. President, MFI Peruvian Providence, and MSA Hemingway’s Calabria in the mix either. Carnation is destined to be a phenomenal production female, but before that she has several blue ribbons and color championships to add to her resume. Her pedigree includes Snowmass Messiah, Snowmass Snowmaster, Snowmass Liberty Bell, 4Peruvian Legacy and Peruvian Hemingway. Miss Congeniality succeeded in very competitive shows as outlined in the awards section. Considering she is bred to Ezekial’s Challenger of Marquam Hill, this pairing gets a lot more interesting. Challenger is known for his uniformity, brightness, density, and S/P ratio, all of which will support Miss Congeniality’s qualities. Dr. Norm Evans stated that, “Challenger’s 2012 Skin Biopsy results were the best I have seen in 2012 and in the top 1% of all the alpacas I have ever tested.” Some of the specific results include 88.75 follicles per sq. mm, 15.1 Secondary to Primary Ratio, and a Secondary to Primary micron spread of 5.6 micron. His fleece is extremely bright, fine, and consistent, with a very high degree of organization and impressive staple length. A histogram performed at 8 months of age produced an AFD of 16.1, an SD of 3.3, and just 0.3%>30. Polar Storm carries this exquisite fleece on a strong, compact frame, and has a beautiful head, all attributes of his sire Accoyo America Polaris. And while Polaris is well known for his production of elite offspring, Polar Storm’s dam Alpenrose, a Nautilus daughter, has made a genetic contribution of equal value. At age eight, her fleece carries a micron of 18.7, a CV of 18.3%, and just 0.9%>30. It is understandable being that her grand dam “Fatima” is a Nautilus daughter. Fatima produced “Ulysses Nitro of Amber Autumn” a stunning young herd sire and Supreme Champion macho that we sold to Ariya Alpacas in Eastern Canada. Nitro maintained a 19 micron fleece at 4 years of age. For those that know anything about our 2013 show string, the Nitro kids won our farm several color championships, a “Judge’s choice” award, and several “Get of Sire Light” blue ribbons during the 2013 show season. We sold one of his stunning daughters “Kasimira” at the 2013 Futurity Sale & Show to Xanadu Alpacas. Frosty Lady’s dam “Farrah” is at 20.8, 4.2, 20.1, 2.9>30 in 2013 at 3 years of age. Beautiful phenotype, strong substance of bone, nicely balanced on a strong frame, Zoe’s fleece displays very good brightness, high frequency crimp with deep amplitude and very nice character and consistency. Our Nitro kids had an incredible show season in 2012/2013 as Nitro went on to garner several Breeders Best Three and Get of Sire Light blue ribbons and color championships. Zoe was an integral part of that process but up against tough competition with her siblings. Ulysses’ Nitro produced some exceptional progeny for our ranch, and was then sold to Ariya Alpacas in Quebec, Canada. Sellers remorse? We just purchased Pure Elegance last fall from Sunset Hills Farm. She is the one and only “Principio” daughter that we have at this point in time, and unfortunately we do not own her dam 5Peruvian Benita. Sara is the daughter of Import 6Peruvian Royal Gold. Royal Gold is a light fawn male who at the age of 14 had never gone over an AFD of 23. Her Dam, Stargazers Selene is a dark fawn by PPPeruvian Augusto. Augusto sold in the 2000 Breeders Choice Auction for an amazing $226,000. For a fairly young female Sara has very close linage to some of the best older imports such as Peruvian Drambuie and PPeruvian Leon. Sara has a very bright fleece with very high frequency, low amplitude crimp style. She has always done well in the fleece shows we have entered into with a Judge’s Choice Award for Best Hand at the Estes Park Wool Market and Fleece Show. Sara is a smaller, compact, sturdy female with excellent conformation and capacity. Sara has produced three cria for us and sells with her 2013 male cria by Snowmass Reserved. Take a look at this beautiful little male, Royal Moonshine, and you will have an idea what you could expect from Sara in the future. Royal Moonshine’s sire, Snowmass Reserved, is a Futurity Color and Reserve Color Champion as well as an AOBA World Conference Fleece Color Champion. Understandable given that her sire is exactly the same. When we showed Turk, everyone knew when he entered the ring. His presence commanded attention and he seemed to know it. Great density, above average staple length, very bright soft fine fleece, medium frequency crimp with deep amplitude, good bundling, and character that carries well down into the extremities. Her sire is the great Mile High Deacon Grey. “The Deacon” is a 14 time Champion including the 2007 Futurity Color Champion and the only alpaca in history to have ribboned Color Champion in both fleece and halter at AOBA Nationals all in one year. Natasha’s sire “Americano” had a histogram at 6 years of age as follows: 22.1, 4.8, 21.7, 5.7%>30. Hemingway is grandsire here on the sire side and also appears in the dam’s pedigree, crossed with Guellermo to create her granddam “Alderon’s Precious.” Guellermo created numerous champions in Canada. Small in stature, he had incredible density, perfect bite, and impeccable conformation. Precious has been a great producer for our ranch and has given us mostly female progeny. Caligula joins this pedigree as well through Voyager’s dam “Minipani.” Having Vengador in the mix with his high frequency and brightness helps also. Voyager is a Nautilus son and displays extreme density, nice fineness and a great phenotype. We expect that Zeppia may win some blue ribbons for her new owner. Reserved’s paternal line is very notable. Grand Dam Snowmass Cangalli Rose was a Futurity Champion. Her Dam, 5Peruvian Cangalli was imported because of her fine colored fleece. Our Snowmass Reserved was himself a 2009 Futurity Color Champion and a 2010 Futurity Reserve Color Champion. Royal Son has a beautiful fleece. His fleece is very fine yet dense, extremely bright, high frequency small individual little bundles. Royal Son is a multi 1st place finisher, a two time Color and two time Reserve Color Champion which includes first at the AOBA National Show as a juvenile and third the Futurity as a juvenile. Accoyo America Polaris, Sire of Celeste
Celeste is the beautiful daughter of Accoyo America Polaris, one of the densest alpacas on the planet, and Hummingherd’s Delicata, a champion Snowmass Perfection daughter out of our top champion-producing dam line. Delicata was white female Color Champion at NWAS, and was purchased by Lynn Edens of Little Creek Farm/Accoyo America. Her two sisters were also Color Champions at NWAS and SWRAS, and their dam was Color Champion at GWAS, so Celeste is loaded with proven excellence on both sides of her pedigree. Celeste has a perfect, adorable head, a typey body, and an extremely bright fleece with distinct, crimpy staples from head to toe. Celeste has been bred to Levi’s 501 of Hummingherd, our Leviathan son and Poseidon grandson who has won every fleece show he’s been entered in. He was Color Champion and Supreme Fleece Champion at IAO 2012, and first at IAO in 2013 and 2011, when he beat all eleven Snowmass entries. 501 was also first at AOBA and Color Champion and Judges Choice at GWAS in 2012, just edging out his sire, Hummingherd’s Leviathan, who won the AOBA fleece show three times, even beating Snowmass Best Man. The breeding of Celeste to 501 represents the pinnacle of Hummingherd Alpacas’ 14-year breeding program, and we are proud to offer what is truly our very best.
